Smoked in Spain over an oak wood fire to develop a rich & smoky flavour. Schwartz are one of the world’s largest producers of herbs, spices and seasonings, so when I was asked to review their Smoked Paprika seasoning, I couldn’t say no. Paprika is a ground spice that is made from dried red fruits of the larger and sweeter varieties of bell pepper or sweet pepper. Paprika is used mostly in Eastern European dishes and is added to soups, stews, pasta and chicken. Herbs such as oregano and parsley compliment paprika perfectly. The paprika I am reviewing was smoked in Spain.
